July 24-26 an International jujutsu summer camp was held. Many jujutsu masters from all over the world, including such well-known masters as Richard Morris (10 dan) and Jan Erik Karlsson (10 dan), gathered in Lund, Sweden. During the camp various jujutsu training were held and in the end, a newasa (ground wrestling) tournament took place. Photo..

On the 21st of July a seminar in classical jujutsu and aikijutsu took place in Riga, Martial arts school Satori. The seminar was held by Igor Zaytsev (6 Dan, Saint Petersburg).

First training was aimed to kihon (basic technique) learinig, second - to sutemi (sacrificial throws) and weapons.

On the 2nd of April a seminar in jujutsu (jiu-jitsu) took place in Riga, Martial arts school Satori. The seminar was held by Shihan Igor Zaytsev (6 Dan, Saint Petersburg), who demonstrated traditional jujutsu HOKUSHIN KO RYU tehniques.

On the 14th of March a regular seminar in ground fighting (newasa) took place.

On the 14th of February a seminar in ground fighting (newasa) took place in Martial arts school Satori, Riga. The seminar was held by Dmitry Pudov (3rd dan jujutsu) and Vladislav Chernavsky (world-class sambo master, 2nd dan jujutsu, 2nd dan judo).

In January a jujutsu seminar took place in Riga and Liepaja. The seminar was held by Shihan Igor Zaytsev (6 dan jujutsu JJI & Hoku Shin Ko ryu). See photo in the gallery...

On Saturdays a ground wrestling (grappling) day is held in Martial arts school Satori (Stabu 10/4). All interested are invited. Beginning at 14:00.
