Latvian Jiu-Jitsu Federation seminar in Rezekne
On October 29, Latvian Jiu-Jitsu Federation organized a seminar in Rezekne. The seminar gathered jujutsu clubs and instructors from all over Latvia.
During 8 trainings different aspects of jujutsu were reviewed - from throws and newasa techniques to weapons and self-defence.

From October 8, weekly newasa (grappling, BJJ) days are reopened.
Trainings will take place in Martial arts school Satori dojo (Vingrotaju street 1). Beginning at 14:00. Organizers Dmitry Pudov and Vladislav Chernavsky.
Trainings consists of warm-up and fights.
Participation in free. All interested are invited.
In the end of August we were visited by John Nash from the USA - purple belt in BJJ, many BJJ championship participant and winner, including recent IBJJF International Open.
John not only participated in our trainings, but also conducted some for us and showed interesting BJJ techniques. Thank you, John!
City Fitness jujutsu trainings
Starting from June, both evening jujutsu groups will train together at 19:00.
On May 7 and 8, Satori team consisting of 10 people and guided by Dmitry Pudov participated in the 2nd Bujutsu International Camp in Liepaja (Latvia).
The camp gathered such jujutsu masters as:
- Jan-Erik Karlsson (Sweden) 10 Dan (bujutsu)
- Nebojsa Jovanovic (Sweden) 8 Dan (jujutsu & taichi)
- Sergejs Kolmakovs (Latvia) 8 Dan (combat-jujutsu)
- Igor Zaytsev (Russia/Latvia) 7 Dan (aiki-jujutsu & koryu jujutsu)
- Yuri Smirnov (Russia) 6 Dan (kodokan judo & tai-jutsu)
- Sergey Nasteka (Russia) 5 Dan
Erik Paulson\\\'s seminar in Lodz
On March 19 -20 our team participated in Erik Paulson's CSW (Combat Submission Wrestling) seminiar in Lodz (Poland). The seminar was organised by Adamusik Martial Arts Academy in Poland.

From the February 3, jujutsu trainings in City Fitness gym will be held according to new schedule. On Tuesdays and Thursdays trainings will be at 18:00 and 19:30.
