News | Hour of Submissions 2011 review
Last month was full of events. We participated in Budo Marathon and Grappling Marathon called Hour of Submissions.

... During the holiday rush, when all thoughts are about preparation for New Year’s Eve, usually it is hard to find some time and devote it to your passion. Nevertheless, six our grappling team mates were able to take part in a grappling-marathon called „Hour of Submissions 2011. Spirit of the Dragon”, organized by LEWC team on 31st of December.
Over the period of 1 hour, 12 five minutes long fights took place among athletes from various Latvian clubs. All the participants were divided into two categories – lighter and heavier than 80 kg. At the end of the marathon each athlete received a diploma that aproved his participation in the event (which could be used also as an excuse of absence during New Year’s preparation :) ).
We would like to thank organizers and idea authors of this great event! This is a great opportunity to challenge yourself and clarify goals and objectives for the further workout in dojo.
Thanks to all participants of the marathon. We appreciate each fight, that took place during this hour!
